Shooting pictures during our travels is one of our favorite parts of the whole experience. We love the ability to capture moments in time, like the way the morning light falls on the rolling hills by the ocean. And we love being able to share, in some way, our experiences with you!
So we’ve put together a collection of over 40 of our best images for you. Every purchase you make will help support the work of the Personal Transformation Centre in Lautoka, Fiji and A Girl Called Hope in Auckland, New Zealand, as well as keep us traveling to all these amazing places.

Northland

Sunny Northland is full of white sandy beaches and bright blue waters. We spent 6 weeks traveling through Northland in late February, March, & April 2011 and consider it one of our favorite regions thus far.
Auckland

Auckland may now be considered a ‘supercity’ with it’s sprawling suburbs full of 1/4 of the entire country’s population, but that doesn’t mean there still aren’t beautiful vistas to behold. Being the largest city in New Zealand, Auckland was our homebase for our arriving and departing flights.
Coromandel

The Coromandel is only a few hour’s drive from Auckland City, making it an ideal weekend escape for city dwellers and travelers alike. We camped on the Coromandel during our first weekend in New Zealand.
Taranaki

Mt. Taranaki dominates the landscape of this region. We had a great time hiking on the volcano and watching surfers in wetsuits along Surf Highway 45.
Wellington
New Zealand’s capital city might be ridiculously windy, but it isn’t short on character. We quickly found it was one of our favorite cities.
Tasman

Dubbed the sunniest region in New Zealand, Tasman includes the city of Nelson and the Golden Bay area. National Parks abound in this region, full of beaches, lakes, waterfalls, caves, freshwater springs, and plenty of rainbows to boot.
West Coast

The population along the West Coast is sparse, and with 280 days of rain each year I can see why. With an almost jungle-like quality to the scenery opposite the mighty waves of the Tasman, our drive down the West Coast didn’t disappoint.
Otago

Otago stretches across the south of New Zealand’s South Island, and is full of mountains, cliffs, lakes, and other such stunning vistas.
Southland

We spent only a few days driving through the southern point of the country at the start of New Zealand’s winter, but were glad to have nice weather for the majority of our time there.
Canterbury

Home to New Zealand’s second largest city, as well as beautiful rolling plains, glacial lakes, and stunning coastlines, Canterbury is a region not to be missed.
Waikato

Lush emerald green hills host herds of sheep in this fertile area of New Zealand. Along the west coast of the Waikato region you’ll also find some of the best surfing beaches in the world!
Fiji

The nation of Fiji is filled with lush landscapes & beautiful people. One of our favorite parts was a visit to the outlying Mamanuca Islands where we experienced the postcard perfect tropical blue waters.
